Belle Foret Single Post Lavatory Faucet Installation Instructions

Lavatory faucets should be installed by a qualified, licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply valves before installation. Please use teflon tape on all threaded connections.

Hold faucet body upside down. Thread the bolt onto bolt hole on the faucet body (see diagram 2). Position the thicker decorative ring on sink. Hold faucet body up right. Insert the faucet body through the thicker decorative ring on the sink. From underneath, slide the metal washer onto the bolt, with the slotted opening towards to the back of the sink. Thread nut onto the bolt and tighten. Insert the spout onto the spout/body connector and tighten the collar. Connect the supply lines (not included) to supply tubes. Install handles (see Handle Installation). Install pop-up drain (see Pop-Up Installation). Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

Hold faucet body upside down. Slide the thinner decorative ring onto faucet body. Slide the deck plate onto the faucet body, insert the screw through the hole in the deck plate, and tighten (see diagram 2). Place the plastic plate under the deck plate, smooth side down. Thread the bolts onto the bottom of the deck plate. Place the faucet onto the sink, then thread the deck plate mountings nuts onto the bolts. Insert the spout onto the spout/body connector and tighten the collar. Connect the supply lines (not included) to supply tubes. Install handles (see Handle Installation). Install pop-up drain (see Pop-Up Installation). Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

Pump Handle

Remove the decorative knob from the handle assembly. Put the handle onto the faucet and tighten the handle screw with wrench provided. Replace the decorative knob.

Pop-Up Drain

Remove seat and top gasket from the pop-up assembly. Remove the drain tube and wrap upper threaded end of the drain tube with Teflon tape. Insert drain body through the drain opening and thread seat and top gasket onto the drain body. Holding the drain body in position with the pivot rod opening facing the back of the sink, tighten mounting nut with a wrench. Drop the stopper into place. Remove the spring clip from pivot rod. Remove the pivot nut from drain body and slide it over pivot rod. Insert pivot rod into pivot rod opening, making sure the pivot rod engages the stopper properly. Thread the pivot nut onto pivot rod opening. Tighten the pivot nut firmly, being careful not to over-tighten. With lift rod in position on faucet, insert the lift rod through the lift rod strap and secure with the set screw. Guide the pivot rod through one of the holes on the spring clip and on the lift rod strap. Then slip the pivot rod through the other hole on the spring clip. Adjust the height of the lift rod by resetting the set screw.
