Skirted Freestanding Bath Tubs

Skirted bath tubs are freestanding cast iron tubs that fit within a decorative metal trim or skirt. Although a skirted tub could be created by wrapping a skirt around any type of freestanding bath tub, cast iron double ended and double slipper tubs are most commonly used. Skirted tubs are often not available with faucet holes. Therefore, freestanding clawfoot tub faucets and showers are typically used with skirted cast iron bath tubs.
